"Assurance of Faith"

Hebrews 10:22 "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."

"Assurance of faith"
means a clear, definite knowledge of the forgiveness of sin, of reconciliation with God, and of our relationship with Him as our Father. We must be able to say, "I know" not,
"I hope so" or "I think so"

The absence of this assurance plaques many Christian's today. As Christians we cannot serve the Lord joyfully when there is a doubt of our relationship with Him.

How does this assurance come? Simply by believing God. What God says, we can believe; and when we believe, assurance comes. "These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the name of the Son of God; they ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." I John 5:13

Surely we can trust God and accept what He says without any further questioning.
